The Academy will start on Saturday
October 6th. The venue is our clubgrounds in Cahermoneen. The Academy runs from 2.30 to 4.00
every Saturday afternoon. The Academy continues until May 26th 2008.
Players who are fully paid club members aged from 6 to 10 years old are eligible to attend. All
Academy coaches have coaching experience. Most have either
Introductory or Level 1 Coaching badges.
The Head Coach is Danny Diggins(Level 1 Coach).
The Academy Co-ordinator is
Owen Moynihan(Level 1 Coach).
We currently have 100 children between the ages of 6 and 10 attending our Academy on a regular basis.
We have decided to register existing members only during the month of May for next years Academy.
The fee for next year is €80 and €1 per session to help fund equipment purchase.
This €80 will include membership,insurance,jersey,socks and shorts.This gear must be worn at all Academy sessions.
The cost for a second child is €40.Only children born between 1997-2001 can attend next years Academy.
At present we will be registering new members up to Christmas.
The Academy takes place every Saturday weather permitting.
