St. Brendans Park F.C is a soccer club
affiliated to the Kerry District and Schoolboy League and the Football
Association of Ireland. It was founded in 1971 by a group of twenty
two people from St. Brendans Park and Rock Street areas. Having
secured the use of some land adjoining the St. Brendans Park housing
estate for use as a pitch the club entered a team in the then
fledgling Kerry District League. Over the years this pitch has been
developed into a quality playing surface and will always be synonymous
with both the club and Kerry soccer. Since then the club has grown to
become the largest club in the county with over 300 members and 18
teams playing in the Kerry District League.
In 1990 the club bought new grounds in Cahermoneen for the clubs
Schoolboy teams.

This is our clubhouse developement which was completed in 2007.
It contains 6 dressing rooms with showers.
A referees room,a kitchen, public toilets with disabled access and a meeting room.

This area which is just inside the main entrance to our pitches,
will be developed into our 60m x 40m all-weather facility.
The work for this will commence on Monday 1st October 2007.

This is the view across our pitches as you look from the dressing rooms.
There is room for 3 full size pitches. These pitches have all got underground drainage in place.
Which should make them playable even on a wet Kerry afternoon.
